Social Responsibility

For Petrobahia, working together with the community also means developing projects that contribute to improving society. Because of this, the initiatives in our Social Responsibility program have reached more and more prominence within the company’s operations. Read below to learn more about the areas we support, as well as the most recent projects that we’ve developed.

Responsible Partnership

Petrobahia has distinguished itself as a member of the Responsible Partnership Program developed by Petróleo Brasileiro S/A. Through this program, which aims to give incentives for responsible business practices, Petrobahia has improved and optimized its actions within areas such as: personal development, organizational structure, operational safety and socio-environmental responsibility.

Sports

Supporting sports has been one of Petrobahia’s main goals as part of our social responsibility program. Working with the Bahian State Government through the “Be an Athlete” program, we have sponsored a wide variety of sports activities and athletes, giving more and more incentives for involvement in sports as a way of improving the community.

Culture

Petrobahia supports various cultural projects through the Government of Bahia’s Faz Cultura program. The incentives and programs are diverse, but all share a single intention: supporting and developing new talent while promoting culture and cultural growth in society.

Fala Menino Project (Publication of Children’s Books with common themes of good citizenship)
Radiola na Estrada Project (Radio shows on the Banda Radiola station in rural cities)
